The Jotter made the Kessel run, or rather the Disney Springs run, this evening when we heard the new Millennium Falcon popcorn holder was available. We thought it might be sold out by the time we got there, but never tell us the odds. As luck would have it, the stand we visited was well stocked with the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.
The popcorn rust buckets are available at the Disney popcorn stand by the food trucks at Exposition Park. If you don’t know where that is, it’s across from Disney’s Candy Cauldron on the west side. When we got there, a Cast Member was setting up a line management system in anticipation of high demand. Another Cast Member told us they became available this afternoon and are only being sold at Disney Springs and Disney’s Hollywood Studios for now. The popcorn holders have been available at Disneyland in California since January 8th.
The Millennium Falcon costs $24.99 and comes with popcorn. You can choose to have your popcorn in a box on the side if you want to keep your collectible spaceship clean. The falcon is adorned with a swiveling radar dish and blue LED lights to simulate the glow of the engine thrusters, making it look like it’s ready for the jump to hyperspace.
Get yours now, but don’t get cocky, kid.
