Disney World is known as the most magical place on Earth. A big part of what makes Disney so magical is the rides. They come in all varieties, from carousels to coasters, dark rides to water rides, simulators, and even trackless rides. And, of course, donât forget the spinning rides (we love you, Teacups!). Apart from rides, there are also amazing experiences like fireworks, parades, play areas, character meet and greets, and even animal encounters.
But which experience is the most fun? I mean, which one puts the biggest smile on your face that lasts for hours? Of course, the answer to that depends on the person and their preferences. Thrill seekers might say Tron Lightcycle Run or Rock ânâ Roller Coaster. Disney buffs might say a more classic ride like Peter Panâs Flight or Haunted Mansion.
But letâs narrow it down even further. How about the most fun 30 seconds you could have at Disney World? Think about all the options. It could be the drop on Tower of Terror or Tianaâs Bayou Adventure. It could be the backward launch of Guardians of the Galaxy. It could even be Figment saying, âHellllllooooo!â while wearing his cute little tracksuit top on Journey into Imagination.
We think a strong argument could be made for an underdog of an attraction. One that maybe you would never guess. It might not even come to mind when hearing this question. Intrigued? Take a few seconds to think about it (unless you figured it out from the title image).
Weâll give you some hints. Itâs a ride but not a big name attraction. Weâll narrow it down even more. Itâs a roller coaster.
Give up? Okay, hereâs our answer: The most fun 30 seconds at Disney World is on The Barnstormer.
Second for second, itâs the most fun you can have at Disney, at least in our opinion. Is it the overall best ride? Doubtful. Is it even one of the top 10 rides? Probably not. But for the sweet 30 seconds beginning with the drop and ending with the final turn, itâs just a fun, magical experience.
Whatâs great about it, too, is that itâs perfect for nearly all ages and preferences, as long as youâre over 35 inches tall. Itâs thrilling enough to be exciting, but not so thrilling that itâs scary. In short, itâs the perfect coaster!
For those of you who have never experienced it, or even know what it is, itâs a junior roller coaster in the Storybook Circus region of Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom. It features Goofy as âThe Great Goofini,â a performer in an aerial stunt show. The coaster trucks resemble little propeller-driven biplanes that make twists and turns, and even a drop or two, along a short metal track. The entire ride lasts about a minute, with half of that being the climb to the top of the hill. The following 40 seconds, oh boy, are a hoot.
All right. You probably disagree with us. But thatâs okay. Ultimately, Disney World is all about creating magical moments, so tell us what experience you think offers 30 seconds of pure joy.
