A food truck was seen out at Universal Studios this week. Located across from Mel’s Drive-In, the truck’s menu offered just one food item: Fish & Chips from Finnegan’s Bar and Grill, which is one of the park’s full service eateries located in the New York area of Universal Studios. Soft drinks, beer, and wine were also available.
Team Members handing out menus told us that Universal was testing the truck during the holidays. If popular enough, the truck could be brought out for special events and busy park days, or possibly become a permanent fixture.
The quick service eatery located in the The Landing at Disney Springs offers Irish style fare in a casual setting. Menu items include their Famous Fish and Chips, Chicken and Wild Mushroom Pie served with Chips, assorted burgers (even a deep-fried one!), chicken sandwiches, and more. See menu photos for full list.
The Famous Fish and Chips (our top pick!) was served fresh and hot with a side of tartar sauce. It comes with one large portion of fish. Additional pieces of fish can be added for $7.99 each. Vinegar and other condiments are available on each table.

If you love a good meat pie we also recommend their savory pies with chips. The Battered Chicken Tenders and Chips are pretty standard. (See our junior reporter’s Kid’s Take on them.) The Beast, their hand-battered and deep fried burger, is fun to try at least once.

The dessert menu highlights their three cookie offerings: Oatmeal & Honey (our favorite oatmeal cookie in Disney World!), Jammy Dodger, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip.
