Our first visit to the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival 2024 was a rainy one, but we managed to stay mostly dry and enjoy some great festival eats.
Mexico Booth: Highly Recommend!

Not a bad food item to be had.
Flauta de Barbacoa ($8.00): A favorite! The crispy tortilla shell, stuffed with flavorful beef barbacoa, had a spicy kick. We wished we’d ordered two!
Tostada de Camarones ($7.75): Another good savory option. The three tempura-battered shrimp remained crisp, and the generous portion of guacamole was rich in the best way.
Pan de Elote ($6.00): For a sweet treat, we tried this surprising dish. A sprinkle of salty cheese and chocolate sauce covered a slice of moist Mexican cornbread, studded with fresh corn. A decent snack, but if you’re only getting one item from this booth, go with one of the two savory items.
Flavors of America Booth: Worth a Try

This year’s American menu takes us on a mini hot dog tour of the US.
Chicago-Style Dog ($6.75): A classic beef hot dog with tomato, pickle, onions, mustard, sport pepper, and that famous glowing green Chicago relish, all on a poppy seed bun. The combo of salty hot dog and fresh toppings was easily our favorite of the two.
Southwest-Style Dog ($7.25): A bacon-wrapped dog topped with beans, tomatoes, pickled jalapenos, avocado crema, and queso fresco on a roll. They had us at “bacon-wrapped.” Still a solid choice. We can’t wait to try the other offerings at this booth.
Funnel Cake Stand: Tasty, but Not a Must-Do

We were excited to see a Tiramisu Funnel Cake ($12.00) as this year’s festival offering! It came out warm and topped with a thin block of vanilla ice cream, chocolate rum sauce, cream cheese whipped cream, and a dusting of cocoa and espresso powders. The sweet toppings perfectly complemented the bitter cocoa and espresso flavors. We enjoyed this one, but wouldn’t say it’s a standout dessert. Try it if you want something a bit different, but don’t feel like you’re missing out if you skip it.
We can’t wait to get back and try more festival eats. Check back for more food updates.
