Festival Passholder Merch
The International Festival of the Arts is about to begin at Epcot on January 17. As a special perk to annual passholders, Disney is offering exclusive merchandise and discounted tickets to their Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages. Disney is also releasing the newest complimentary magnet for passholders. It features a design painted by Will Gay, who is the Creative Director at Yellow Shoes, the internal ad agency for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. You can see more of his art here.
Universal Studios Mardi Gras Concerts
The annual Mardi Gras event at Universal Studios runs from February 1st to April 2nd this year. Universal Orlando just announced the names of the artists that will be performing on stage. The list includes the singer of the popular song “Despacito” Luizs Fonzi, Kool and the Gang, The Roots, Bell Biv DeVoe, All American Rejects, Diana Ross, TLC, and more. The event also includes cajun-style food like po boys, gumbo, and jambalaya, as well as specialty drinks and a parade. Universal released the full list on their media site.
Disney Financial Webcast
For those Disney fans that are interested in the financial aspect of the Orlando area theme parks, you may want to tune in to Disney’s webcast next month. The live audio feed, which begins at 4:30 pm EST on February 4th, will have The Walt Disney Company discussing the results of the first fiscal quarter of 2020.
