Wishables
Disney announced they are adding a new collection of micro plushies to their existing line of Disney Wishables. The Wishables features characters like Stitch, Mickey, Minnie, and Olaf, and now adds a collection of park icons like Cinderella Castle, Tree of Life, and Spaceship Earth. The plushies are small in size, ranging from about 4 ½” to 5 ½”.
Epic Character Race
Universal Orlando is sponsoring the first annual Epic Character Run on Feb 1-2, 2020. Characters licensed to Universal will be at the run, including minions, Shrek, dinosaurs from Jurassic World, Transformers, and more. Sign up for the run here. Participants get Universal perks and swag like a bag, shirt, medal, certificate, and free parking. A special weekend vacation package to Universal Orlando is available to those who sign up.
More Lord of the Rings Rumors
There are more rumors circulating about plans for a Lord of the Rings land at the new Epic Universe theme park that is under construction in Orlando. The new Universal park is set to open sometime in 2023 and details on what Universal has in store are scarce. A similar park is under construction in Japan that features a Super Nintendo World, which is likely to come to Orlando as well. However, there has been no confirmation from Universal about the Lord of the Rings land so take these rumors with a grain of salt.
