Rise of the Resistance Survey

Disney is seeking out the best way to handle queuing for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. A Twitter user posted the survey options, which include a virtual line, a mixed FastPass+/standby line, or a standby line only. The post was retweeted 15 times at the time of writing this. A quick look at the responses to the posts shows one thing is clear, there is no strong consensus, at least on Twitter. Whichever option Disney chooses, there will be unhappy park goers. What type of line system would you like to see?

Disney Theme Parks and the Coronavirus

The coronavirus that was rapidly spreading through Asia is now becoming global. The infectious pathogen goes by various names, but its official name is 2019-nCoV or SARS-CoV-2 or covid-19. It’s already having an impact on Disney, which closed its Shanghai Disney and Hong Kong Disneyland Resorts indefinitely. Cases have been confirmed within a day’s drive from Disneyland. Disney is already feeling the repercussions, with stock prices, which have been very strong in the wake of a lot of good news recently, dropping. While the severity of the coronavirus has yet to be determined (many experts are saying it is more contagious than the flu, but much less deadly than other outbreaks like SARS), it never hurts to be cautious. Take precautions when visiting crowded areas like Disney and Universal theme parks. The CDC recommends washing your hands regularly, avoid touching your face with unwashed hands, and if you get sick, to stay hydrated and get rest.
