Super Nintendo World Announcement
Universal just announced what everyone already knew, that Orlando’s newest theme park is going to feature a Super Nintendo World. Universal’s Epic Worlds park, which is still under construction and won’t open until at least 2024, is going to have a land themed with Nintendo characters and games. Universal is already building a similar land in Japan that includes a Yoshi peoplemover-style ride and a Mario Kart ride. The announcement was made by Comcast executives during an earnings meeting. Universal Parks and Resorts is a subsidiary of NBCUniversal, which is owned by Comcast.
Voice of Belle at Epcot
Paige O’Hara, who famously voiced Belle in Disney’s original animated version of Beauty and the Beast, wowed guests at Epcots’s new Beauty and the Beast Sing Along show yesterday with an appearance before the crowd. She is scheduled to be at Epcot over the next few days to show off her artwork as part of the International Festival of the Arts, which runs until February 24, 2020.
