Hagrid’s Wallpaper Collection
Want a niffler, unicorn, or manticore as your wallpaper? Now Universal has you covered. We’ve written a few Jots highlighting Disney’s efforts to make fun wallpapers to use as the background of your phone, desktop computer, or other device. Well, Universal has posted a collection of new wallpapers of their own. The collection features six different wallpapers, each with a picture of a magical creature from the Harry Potter universe. The wallpapers are taken from posters that are up in the line for Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure designed by MinaLima, who worked on the Harry Potter films. Long Lines Still a Thing for Hollywood Studios Morning Opening
Were you hoping the cold weather would mean shorter lines at the parks? Or that, now we’re in the “off peak time”, crowds would be smaller? Well, you’d be right, except for one thing. The morning rush to secure boarding passes for Disney’s latest ride to open in Orlando is still a thing. Over a month after opening, park goers are jamming the gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios well before park opening for a chance to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Even the launch of a version of ROTR in Disneyland hasn’t alleviated the pressure of guests streaming to Hollywood Studios each morning. While reports are many people who show up early are getting to ride because throughput has been high and the ride hasn’t been breaking down, guess are still complaining about the less-than-ideal situation. Unless you’re on a tight schedule or can’t wait to ride, we’d recommend holding off for a few more weeks to rise ROTR.
