Orlando Theme Park Lines Are Shorter
Park lines at the Orlando area theme parks are much shorter than they were over the holiday peak around New Years. However, guests are still arriving early (well before 6 am) for Rise of the Resistance. Standard boarding passes are usually gone by 7:30 am and contingency passes are gone within an hour or so after that. Also, Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure has been seeing a lot of down time this season with guests getting stranded in line for hours without knowing if the ride will reopen. Test Track has been the longest wait at Epcot, consistently holding around two hours. Avatar: Flight of Passage is still the most popular ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with wait times over 3 hours for standby riders. New Minnie Merch
Fans of Minnie Mouse will be happy to hear Disney just announced a new line of Minnie-themed merchandise collections called Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction. There will be 12 collections, one for each month of the year. Each collection with feature items such as pins, bags, mugs, dolls, MagicBands, and, of course, mouse ears. The first collection to be released is Blast Off On SpaceMountain and prominently features the Tomorrowland attraction’s famous profile. Upcoming collections will feature Pirates of the Carribean, Tea Cups, Tiki Room, Peter Pan, and more.
