Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts
Just a reminder that the International Festival of the Arts at Epcot is beginning on January 17, 2020. The festival will have special art performances, workshops, signings, and of course unique food offerings. Also happening on that day is the premiere of three movies at the park. The new movies are Awesome Planet at the Land pavilion, Beauty and the Beast Sing Along at the France pavilion, and Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 at the Canada pavilion. Duchess Meghan Markle Voices for Disney
Meghan Markle, Duchess of Susex and spouse of Prince Harry of the British Royal family, has agreed to do voiceover work for The Walt Disney Company. Details of the contract have yet to be released, but we do know she will be donating any income from the deal to Elephants Without Borders, an environmental charity. While this is not theme park news per se, who knows? Maybe one day the royal’s voice will appear at Disney World in a show, ride, movie or other form.
