Millennium Falcon Popcorn Bucket?
A new popcorn bucket is available at select Disney World locations now. A few days ago, Disney released a new popcorn and french fry holder at Disneyland shaped like the Millennium Falcon, the spaceship flown by Han Solo and Chewbacca in the Star Wars movie franchise. Now the Falcon has made its way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney Spings in Florida. The popcorn holder, which lights up and has a swiveling radar dish, retails for $24.99, popcorn included. See our write up of it here.
Shorter Wait Times
Now that the busy holiday season has come to a close, wait times at the popular ride at the Orlando theme parks are back to normal. Monitoring wait times on the theme park mobile apps reveals popular rides like Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are allowing more riders than they were just last week. It also helps that both rides have been running smoothly lately. The parks are still fairly busy, though, as block out dates for annual passholders are now being lifted. Rise of the Resistance saw a little bump this morning in attendance for that reason, but it’s running at full capacity and is allowing a large volume of guests to ride. With the cooler weather and manageable wait times, January and February are looking like a great time to visit the parks.
