The holiday season spanning from Christmas to New Year’s is one of the busiest times of the year at Disney World. Guests come from far and wide to ring in the new year at the mouse house. To keep guests informed of all the ways to celebrate the end of the year, Disney just announced the schedule of events for each of its parks.
Magic Kingdom will host the largest fireworks event at the parks. The “Fantasy in the Sky” fireworks display will run December 30th and 31st. For those unable to make it, the event will be live streamed on the front page of the Disney Parks Blog.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will ring in the new year with a series of events at Center Stage. The event begins at 6:05 pm with “Wonderful World of Animation” followed by “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” At 7pm a dance party will ensue and last until Midnight when “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” will take place.
Epcot will host live music at the America Gardens Theatre. At midnight, each international pavilion will make their own announcements. The event also includes the “Epcot Forever” fireworks show at the World Showcase, as well as a special countdown to 2020. The Epcot Forever fireworks is regularly scheduled for 9:30 pm.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate the new year with a countdown to 2020 at the Tree of Life. Leading up to the new year, park visitors will be able to purchase food and drink with special theming.
