Disney Skyliner Downtime
Disney's Skyliner broke down for about 30 minutes yesterday, stranding guests on the line to the new Riviera Resort. According to stranded passengers, Disney told them they could open the emergency kits in the gondolas, which contain some water bottles, a glowstick, a notepad, and some bags to hold waste. The Skyline has been down a few times since it opened, the longest being a several hour hour halt after two gondolas collided. No injuries have been reported. Despite the stoppages, the Skyliner system has proven to be a safe and quick way to get guests between parks and resorts.
Rise of the Resistance Update
Park goers are still showing up early for ROTR. The park has been opening as early as 6 am and boarding passes have been going fast--some days minutes, but today after about an hour. Guests arriving before 5 am are having the best luck. If you’re headed to the park, looks like you need to be there early to have a decent shot at riding. The ride has also been going down intermittently so bring your patience.
