Disney released another new wallpaper that you can set as your background on your desktop computer or mobile device. It features a Christmas cookie theme. You can check it out here (although the download links weren’t working for us last time we tried. Hopefully they’ll get them working soon).
Universal Resort Opening Date Released
The latest resort by Universal, the Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn and Suites, is still under construction. However, an opening date has been set for March 17, 2020, which is St. Patrick’s Day. Rooms are already available to book.
SeaWorld to the Rescue
SeaWorld announced yesterday that the company, along with its partners, have rescued over 2,700 turtles and reptiles. They’ve been announcing a lot of good news for animals lately. Recently, they teamed with NOAA Fisheries to rescue a Gray Seal that got lost at sea.
Disney’s Land Grab
According to reports from Orlando Business Journal (behind a paywall), Disney has recently purchased more land. The deal secures additional property for the company west of Magic Kingdom. Nothing has been said about how the land will be used, but our guess is, given the success of Disney’s Vacation Club (read here), we’re betting on another resort.
